基本原则
对于系统压力的设置，在控制电子设备上定命令值。根据指令值，电子元件用电流驱动电磁线圈。比例电磁阀将电流转换为机械力，通过电枢柱塞（5）作用于提升阀（4）。提升阀（4）推动阀座（3）并阻塞端口P和T或Y之间的连接。如果提升阀（3）上的液压力等于电磁阀力，则阀门通过将提升阀（2）提升离阀座（4）来控制设定压力，从而使液压油从端口P流向T或Y。如果指令值为零，控制电子设备仅向比例电磁阀（2）施加小控制电流，并设置小设定压力。
